Florida II Listening Event and “Citings”

Hi All,

Thank you all for your patience, its been a very fun and interesting process for the not only the making of Florida II but the rollout of Florida II.

Quick and Short Story. Initially, my plan and goal was to do a listening session of Florida II in Tampa, Florida either 2023 or 2024 (Florida II was complete in 2023). I guess the universe had other plans. I was a bit disappointed not being able to do the listening session and release in 2024, but now I realized it happened for the better. Since January 2025, I was able to creatively come up with the idea to do “citings” at different businesses/locations around a particular city. The funny thing is, back in 2024, I had reached out to a couple of places in St. Augustine/Jacksonville FL to ONLY do a photo exhibit of my photo project titled “Florida Avenues, Florida Neighborhoods, and Florida Streets around the United States”. I followed back up with them in 2024, and they gave me a go ahead to do a photo exhibit in Fall 2025; that in mind, I decided to use this particular city to do the photo exhibit, the release/listening session of my music project “Florida II”, the release of t-shirt designs dedicated to Florida, and the release of my 5th poetry book “Flower Unfolding”!! It’s like a rebirth, celebration, and “re-thankfulness” for what God has been blessing me with over the years and me finally acknowledging these gifts and talents to share with the world. Im attempting to “come out of hiding” this with this one.  This has definitely been a process over the course of the months, but a fun one, doing all the research, and reaching out/connecting with various businesses around the city as well!! I look forward to my “citings” around the city, and sharing these projects with my fellow Floridians!!
